The Science Popularization Campus Automatic Observation Station is a digital meteorological comprehensive service platform developed in accordance with the meteorological observation standards organized by WMO, with the goal of promoting educational informatization, digitization, integration, intelligence, and networking on campus. By popularizing meteorological science through physical objects, we can disseminate meteorological science knowledge, enhance the public meteorological awareness of young students, and cultivate and improve their skills and abilities in disaster prevention and resistance. Functional composition:

The campus automatic observation station consists of three parts: meteorological sensors, meteorological data recorders, and meteorological environment monitoring platforms. It can monitor conventional meteorological elements such as air temperature, air humidity, wind speed, wind direction, rainfall, air pressure, ultraviolet radiation, sunshine hours, PM2.5, PM10, etc. The science popularization data application platform includes outdoor LED display screens and indoor advertising machine publishing terminals, mobile apps, and server data analysis terminals.

Basic system configuration:

1. A monitoring platform with functions such as automatic data reception, data storage and display, data communication, data statistics, historical curve drawing, and over limit alarm.

1. 1 LCD monitoring recorder, capable of automatically collecting and recording data, with a maximum of 60 records per second. The data is stored in scrolling mode;

2. Equipped with external USB storage expansion function.

3. Sensors: Various meteorological element sensors such as environmental temperature, humidity, wind speed, wind direction, air pressure, rainfall, evaporation, total radiation, dew point temperature, light intensity, carbon dioxide, ultraviolet radiation, photosynthetically active radiation, etc. (optional according to needs);

3.1 The environmental temperature, humidity, and air pressure are protected by a 19 degree radiation shield, which is made of BBS plastic with hard strength, radiation resistance, and good ventilation;

3.2 The soil temperature and humidity sensor adopts advanced temperature sampling method, with a power consumption of less than 0.8mA. It adopts a high-strength aluminum shell, which is waterproof, corrosion-resistant, hard in strength, and can be directly buried in the soil;

3.3 The wind speed and direction sensor adopts flange connection, and the transmitter adopts advanced circuit module technology;

3.4 The rainfall sensor adopts a single reed switch on/off, 4PLUS/MM (anti-interference resistance of 100 ohms and capacitance of 0.01 microf);
